Guaranty Trust Bank (GTBank) has assured its customers that their service experience will improve following a recent system upgrade. The bank made this promise on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, as part of an effort to enhance the quality of its banking services nationwide.
In a message sent to its customers, GTBank announced that its digital banking channels and physical branches are now fully operational after the upgrade, which took place between October 11 and October 14.
“We are at work fine-tuning and optimising our new systems to ensure that the quality of your service experience with us is significantly enhanced,” the message stated.

One customer, who requested anonymity, said, “I couldn’t access my account for two days. It was really frustrating because I had urgent payments to make. I hope the upgrade will make things smoother in the future.”
Despite the inconveniences caused, the bank has remained positive, noting that the upgrade was a critical step towards delivering a more efficient banking experience for all its customers.
In its communication, GTBank expressed gratitude to its customers for their patience during the transition period.
