Dele Momodu, a media personality and prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has strongly refuted rumors circulating about the death of Nigerian billionaire businessman, Mike Adenuga.
The rumors had sparked widespread panic, with many Nigerians taking to social media to mourn the passing of one of Africa’s wealthiest individuals.
However, Momodu swiftly responded to the claims, assuring the public that Adenuga is alive and well.
On Tuesday night, Dele Momodu took to X (formerly Twitter) to put an end to the rumors.
In his post, Momodu disclosed that he had spoken directly to Adenuga, who confirmed he was alive and continuing to contribute to Nigeria’s economy.
“Ignore the fake news… The Spirit of Africa DR MICHAEL ADENIYI AGBOLADE ISOLA ADENUGA is hale and hearty. He’s right now at his desk working round the clock in support of the Nigerian economy… He just called me to thank everyone for their concern,” Momodu wrote on his social media account.
