Nigeria’s traditional rulers are under threat as terrorists plan coordinated attacks on Emirs and palaces, according to Primate Elijah Ayodele.
The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church issued this warning in a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin.
He revealed that the attacks are likely to happen between December 2024 and February 2025.
“Emirs and Farmers Are in Danger”
Primate Ayodele disclosed that terrorists are plotting to kidnap Emirs and attack farmers across the country.
“There will be attacks against Emirs, farmers, and palaces across the country,” he stated.
“They are planning to kidnap Emirs and farmers between December and February next year.”
The cleric described the plan as a grave danger to Nigeria’s traditional institutions and rural communities.
A Call for Vigilance
Primate Ayodele urged security agencies to act swiftly to prevent the attacks.
He emphasized the importance of proactive measures to protect vulnerable communities.
“This is a time for Nigeria’s security operatives to be at their most alert,” he warned.
The cleric also called for more collaboration between traditional rulers and the government to address security challenges.
Military to Record Successes Against Terrorists
Despite the looming threats, Primate Ayodele predicted a significant victory for the Nigerian military.
He expressed confidence in the army’s ability to combat terrorism.
“Nigerian army will do so well in combating these bandits,” he declared.
“I see some Boko Haram, ESN, ISWAP leaders being taken out by the military.”
He also added, “Some of them will be arrested within this period too.”

The cleric highlighted farmers as another major target of the terrorists.
Attacks on farmers could worsen food insecurity in the country, Primate Ayodele warned.
Rural areas, where farming is the primary source of livelihood, are particularly at risk.
