Nigeria’s traditional rulers are under threat as terrorists plan coordinated attacks on Emirs and palaces, according to Primate Elijah Ayodele.

The Leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church issued this warning in a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin.

He revealed that the attacks are likely to happen between December 2024 and February 2025.

The cleric described the plan as a grave danger to Nigeria’s traditional institutions and rural communities.

    A Call for Vigilance

Primate Ayodele urged security agencies to act swiftly to prevent the attacks.

He emphasized the importance of proactive measures to protect vulnerable communities.

“This is a time for Nigeria’s security operatives to be at their most alert,” he warned.

The cleric also called for more collaboration between traditional rulers and the government to address security challenges.

Rural areas, where farming is the primary source of livelihood, are particularly at risk.

“These plans are aimed at destabilizing the country’s economy and creating fear among the people,” he noted.

Critics, however, argue that such statements could create panic.

“Instead of alarming people, why not offer solutions?” a critic responded.

This is not the first time Primate Ayodele has made bold statements about national and global events.

He previously predicted challenges for former U.S. President Donald Trump, saying he would lose re-election.
