    Adamawa Police Hunt for Mother Who Abandoned Her Infant Baby in Hotel

    In a shocking incident that has gripped the residents of Adamawa State, an infant girl was discovered abandoned at a hotel in Demsa Local Government Area.

    The baby, believed to be just a few months old, was left by her mother at People’s Hotel in Nasarawo, a bustling neighborhood in Demsa. The mother reportedly claimed she was stepping out to buy food but never returned.

    Speaking on the matter, the spokesperson for the command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, emphasized the need for public cooperation.

    “The Adamawa State Police Command is seeking collaboration to locate the family of a found child abandoned at People’s Hotel, Nasarawo, Demsa,” Nguroje stated in a press briefing.

    He explained that the child had been abandoned under the pretense that her mother was going to buy food. However, she failed to return, leaving the baby in a vulnerable state.

    Nguroje also provided a direct contact line for individuals who might have useful information.

    “Any useful information that will aid our investigation to trace the child’s parents or relatives will be appreciated. Please contact the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) through 08065604764,” he added.
