The leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has unveiled his much-anticipated prophecies for the year 2025.
In a dramatic press conference held in Lagos, the controversial cleric presented a 95-page booklet detailing predictions for Nigeria, Africa, and the world.
Known for his bold statements, Primate Ayodele did not hold back in warning of economic hardship, political instability, and unforeseen security challenges in the coming year.
“The Economy Will Terrify Nigerians”
Primate Ayodele painted a bleak picture of Nigeria’s economic future, declaring that 2025 would bring untold hardship.
“The bad economy will make the people cry,” he announced solemnly.
He warned that the government’s proposed economic measures, including palliatives, would only worsen the plight of the masses.
“I foresee massive corruption and increased suffering for Nigerians,” the cleric stated, urging the Tinubu administration to act decisively and follow divine guidance.
Banditry, Kidnappings, and Bombings Loom
The prophet issued a chilling alert about security issues in several states, including Zamfara, Yobe, Imo, and Enugu.
“The spirit of God says these states will experience unexpected security challenges, including banditry, kidnappings, and killings,” he revealed.
In an even more alarming revelation, Ayodele predicted possible suicide bombings in Zamfara, Yobe, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
“We must pray fervently to avert these disasters,” he urged.
Nnamdi Kanu’s Imminent Release
A key highlight of Primate Ayodele’s predictions was his proclamation about Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
“The spirit of God says Nnamdi Kanu will be released, but it will not be through legal means,” the cleric declared.
According to him, Kanu’s freedom will come through negotiation, sparking speculation about potential government moves to resolve the contentious issue.
“A Judas Will Betray the President”
In a startling revelation, Primate Ayodele warned of betrayal within President Tinubu’s inner circle.
“There will be a Judas among the President’s trusted aides,” he cautioned.
He also predicted changes in the President’s security details and hinted at possible discord in Aso Rock Villa.
“The spirit of God says the Cabals will rise, promoting gang-ups within the Villa,” Ayodele claimed.
Governors and Political Office Holders Not Spared
Primate Ayodele foresaw political turmoil, including the impeachment of state and federal lawmakers.
“I foresee the removal of Speakers in two State Houses of Assembly,” he said.
He also called for prayers to avert the death of a sitting governor or any state official undergoing surgery.
Ayodele warned of attacks on convoys of governors, ministers, and senators, emphasising the need for increased security measures.
Deadly Diseases and New Vaccines
On health, Ayodele predicted the re-emergence of diseases like Ebola, polio, and COVID-19.
“I foresee that malaria parasites will increase across Africa,” he added.
However, he brought a glimmer of hope by foretelling the discovery of a new vaccine to combat cancer.
“The spirit of God says medical breakthroughs will emerge in 2025,” the cleric noted.
“The Naira Will Shock Nigerians”
The economic woes extended to the naira, with Primate Ayodele forecasting further devaluation of Nigeria’s currency.
“In 2025, the naira will exchange at ₦1,950 to one US dollar,” he predicted.
He also warned that ₦5, ₦10, and ₦20 notes would become obsolete, exacerbating inflation and hardship.
Global Implications: African Leaders and Donald Trump
Beyond Nigeria, Primate Ayodele predicted political upheavals across Africa, including the downfall of “sit-tight” leaders.
“There will be uprisings to remove unproductive African leaders,” he said.
In the United States, Ayodele foresaw controversy surrounding Donald Trump’s administration if he regains the presidency.
“Trump’s policies will create global tension,” the prophet declared.

“Every year, he releases these prophecies. How many of them come true?” a Lagos resident questioned.
