As Nigerians stepped into the new year with hope and expectations, a popular cleric has issued a chilling prophecy. Reverend Father Emmanuel Obimma, widely known as Ebube Muonso, has warned of looming tragedies in 2025, including mysterious deaths and collapsing buildings.
The spiritual director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Anambra State, shared his revelations during the crossover night service themed “Crossover Into My Year of Divine Grace.” Addressing a packed congregation, he called for fervent prayers and fasting to avert these potential disasters.
A Call to Prayer
In his powerful sermon, Fr. Obimma declared, “God showed me strange deaths and many collapsed buildings. I call on the faithful to pray fervently.” He added that the revelations pointed to a society that has turned away from divine principles.
“I saw strange deaths, and when I cried out to God about it, He told me that His people have abandoned Him,” the cleric explained. “Every family which reconsecrates itself to Him through fasting and sincere contrition will be safe, and will neither witness untimely death nor negative news.”
This solemn warning has ignited discussions among Nigerians, many of whom view his prophecies as timely given the country’s ongoing struggles with building collapses and unexplained fatalities.
Recurring Building Tragedies in Nigeria
Building collapses have become a recurring nightmare in Nigeria. In 2022 alone, Lagos State recorded over 20 incidents of collapsed structures, with tragic loss of lives. Experts often blame substandard materials, poor supervision, and regulatory failures. Fr. Obimma’s prophecy, therefore, resonates with these realities, urging both spiritual and practical vigilance.
“God showed me collapsed buildings in many places,” the cleric emphasized. “The faithful must pray fervently and fast against such occurrences.”
Divine Promises Amid the Gloom
Despite the forewarning of tragedies, Fr. Obimma also spoke of hope and divine intervention. He reassured the faithful of breakthroughs, favor, and restoration in 2025.
“God has assured that destinies that have been delayed will be released. Lost hopes will be restored,” he proclaimed. “Even rejected stones will be remembered.”
In a striking metaphor, he described a vision of a giant ladder stretching to heaven. “Many people were climbing the ladder,” he noted. “God told me that in 2025, He will lift many people to the highest level. There will be unprecedented promotions in all walks of life.”
Marital Bliss and Business Growth
Fr. Obimma also shared uplifting revelations regarding marriages and economic prosperity. “God has shown me thousands of wedding rings for the year 2025,” he said, describing the year as a “harvest of marriages.”
Turning to economic matters, the cleric stated, “In 2025, His people will witness business explosion. They will not invest wrongly. Visa restrictions will be limited, and many people will travel freely to countries of their choice.”
Such promises of hope come at a time when Nigeria grapples with high unemployment, inflation, and restricted global mobility due to stringent visa policies.
A Stern Warning for Anambra State Government
While Fr. Obimma avoided commenting on Nigeria’s national politics, he delivered a scathing critique of the Anambra State government. He accused the administration of inaction on issues of kidnapping, armed robbery, and murder.
“God of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry will punish the government of Anambra State for its seeming silence and inaction,” he warned, drawing murmurs of agreement from his congregation.
