    Turji Establishes New Camp After Defeat In Fakai, Shinkafi

    Following a series of military operations that resulted in significant losses for his group in Fakai and Shinkafi, notorious bandit leader Bello Turji is reported to have established a new camp in the dense forest located between Dutsi and Yan Buki, in eastern Moriki.

    Sources indicate that the camp is being used as a strategic base for regrouping Turji’s fighters, providing treatment for injured members, and holding kidnapped victims from recent attacks in Fakai, Kagara, and Maberaya.

    Other bandits groups who escaped military onslaught are seeking refuge around Gidan Jaja, Mayasa and Kwashabawa.

    Resident have been urged to report the movement of the bandits to security agencies.

    Meanwhile, the Nigerian Army has intensified operations under Operation Fansan Yanma, delivering a series of decisive blows to bandit strongholds in the northwest.

    The success of Operation Fansan Yanma signals a critical turning point in the fight against banditry, as the military sustains its mission to eliminate criminal elements and restore peace to affected communities.
