The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Kano Branch, has declared its commitment to closely observe the trial of Sulaiman Aminu, a suspected major drug dealer in Kano State. The association said it wants to ensure that the legal process is fair and justice is done.

Usman Umar Fari, Chairman of the NBA Kano Branch, made this announcement in a statement to the public. He confirmed that the NBA recognizes the arrest of Sulaiman Aminu, who is accused of being involved in large-scale drug trafficking.

According to Fari, drug abuse remains a serious problem in Kano and surrounding areas, and the outcome of this trial will have important consequences for the fight against drug trafficking and substance abuse in the state.

“The NBA Kano Branch will closely monitor the trial and analyse the outcome to make sure justice is served and due legal process is followed,” he said.

He also urged the authorities responsible for handling the case to treat the matter with the seriousness it deserves. This, he said, would help strengthen efforts to reduce drug-related crimes and protect the community.
