    Liverpool Crowned Champions; Six EPL Teams to Compete in 2025–26 UEFA Champions League

    The 2024–25 English Premier League season ended with Liverpool winning the title and securing their spot in the 2025–26 UEFA Champions League. Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur also qualified for Europe’s top club competition.

    Liverpool topped the league table, with Arsenal finishing second. Manchester City, despite a difficult season, grabbed third place, while Chelsea bounced back under manager Enzo Maresca to finish fourth. Newcastle United narrowly edged out Aston Villa for fifth place thanks to a better goal difference. Tottenham Hotspur earned their Champions League spot by winning the UEFA Europa League final against Manchester United.

    This is the first time six English clubs will compete in the Champions League, highlighting the Premier League’s strength and competitiveness.

    Crystal Palace made history by winning the FA Cup, which earned them a place in the UEFA Europa League next season. Aston Villa, who finished sixth in the league, will also compete in the Europa League.

    Nottingham Forest, despite losing to Chelsea on the final day, secured a spot in the UEFA Europa Conference League. This marks their return to European football for the first time since 1996.
