Nigerian Grammy-winning superstar, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has revealed that starting a family is not on his immediate agenda.
In a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra in London, the 34-year-old Afrobeats singer said he isn’t ready to settle down while he’s still heavily involved in touring the world.
When asked if he planned to start a family soon, Burna Boy responded, “Yeah, but I don’t want to start that on the road. I’m not planning on quitting tours anytime soon, so I don’t know where to now put that — find a middle ground.”
He also disclosed that he hasn’t taken a proper vacation since launching his music career, adding that not having children is one of the reasons.
Burna Boy, known for global hits like Ye, Last Last, and African Giant, has spent the past few years performing across continents, solidifying his place as one of Africa’s most successful artists.
Despite fans frequently speculating about his personal life, Burna says for now, music and touring remain his top priorities.
