Club World Cup: Joao Pedro Blasts PSG as Bad Losers

Chelsea forward, Joao Pedro, has criticised Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), calling them “bad losers” after a heated exchange followed the Blues’ 3-0 win in the FIFA Club World Cup final on Sunday night.

Pedro, who scored one of the goals in Chelsea’s commanding victory at the MetLife Stadium in the United States, said tensions boiled over after the final whistle when he tried to defend a teammate.

According to the Brazilian, he was pushed to the ground during a scuffle involving PSG players. He specifically mentioned a clash with PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, and said PSG coach Luis Enrique also got involved.

Enrique was seen confronting Pedro during the fracas, with video footage suggesting the Spanish coach struck the Chelsea forward, causing him to fall.

“They’re bad losers,” Pedro said after the game. “I went to defend my teammate. I was pushed and fell down to the ground.”
