    Super Falcons Star Babajide Signs for AS Roma

    Super Falcons winger, Omorinsola Babajide, has completed a move to Italian Serie A Women’s club, AS Roma, on a free transfer. The 26-year-old Nigerian signed a two-year contract after leaving Spanish side UD Tenerife in May.

    AS Roma officially confirmed her arrival and welcomed the speedy forward into their growing women’s squad. Babajide, who is known for her pace and attacking flair, is expected to add depth and firepower to the team’s frontline.

    Reacting to the move, Babajide shared her excitement on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), writing:

    Born in England to Nigerian parents, Babajide chose to represent Nigeria at senior level and has featured for the Super Falcons in major international fixtures.
