Organisers of the popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), have announced that the much-anticipated Season 10 will premiere this July with a record-breaking grand prize of N150 million for the winner.
The announcement was made during a press briefing on Wednesday, where the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, confirmed his return for the new season.
According to the organisers, the upcoming edition will feature a two-day launch event and promises even more excitement, drama, and twists than previous seasons.
Obi-Uchendu highlighted some of the show’s milestones, including 197 housemates, 709 days of total airtime, and N637 million in prizes since the show began in 2006.
Last year’s Season 9, themed “No Loose Guard,” introduced a twist where housemates auditioned in pairs, entered the house as duos, and later competed individually. Kellyrae emerged as the winner, making history as the first married contestant to win the show, walking away with a N100 million cash prize.
With this year’s prize now increased to N150 million — the highest in the show’s history — anticipation is building among fans ahead of the launch.
