Italian giants Inter Milan have made a formal offer of €40 million to sign Ademola Lookman from Atalanta, but the Bergamo-based club is holding firm on a €50 million valuation.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Super Eagles forward is eager to leave Atalanta this summer and hopes the club will support his move. However, Atalanta are reportedly reluctant to allow Lookman to join a Serie A rival unless their asking price is fully met.
The 26-year-old attacker had a standout season with Atalanta, including scoring a hat-trick in the UEFA Europa League final, and is attracting interest from several top clubs in Europe.
Meanwhile, fellow Nigerian international Victor Osimhen is edging closer to a move to Galatasaray, with the Turkish champions reaching the final stages of talks with Napoli.
The proposed deal is worth €75 million, structured as €40 million upfront and the remaining €35 million to be paid by the end of 2026. Napoli have also included a special clause preventing Galatasaray from selling Osimhen to any Italian club for two years.
Only minor details—such as payment guarantees and a sell-on clause—remain before the deal can be completed.
Both Lookman and Osimhen have been key figures for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, and their next moves are being closely watched ahead of the 2025/2026 European football season.
