Air Peace Begins Abuja-London Flights October 26

    Share

Nigeria’s largest airline, Air Peace, has announced plans to launch direct flights from Abuja to London Heathrow and Gatwick airports starting October 26, 2025.

This move marks a major step for the airline as it becomes the first Nigerian carrier to offer direct services from the nation’s capital to both major London airports.

In a statement released by the airline, the new routes will be operated using its wide-body Boeing 777 aircraft, promising passengers a more comfortable and premium flying experience.

According to the airline, the direct flights will make it easier for passengers from across Nigeria to travel to the UK using one ticket. Travelers can now fly from any Air Peace domestic location—such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Owerri, Kano, and Asaba—to Abuja, and connect seamlessly to either Heathrow or Gatwick without needing to recheck baggage or make separate bookings.

“This integrated service gives passengers more flexibility and smoother travel between Nigeria and the UK,” the airline said. “It also allows travelers arriving in London to reach different parts of Nigeria easily via our Abuja hub.”

To attract more passengers, Air Peace is offering competitive pricing, with round-trip tickets to London starting from just ₦1 million, including a generous baggage allowance.

The new service builds on Air Peace’s growing reputation in regional and international travel, following the successful launch of its Lagos–London Heathrow route earlier in the year.
