Liverpool manager Arne Slot has named a 29-man squad for the club’s pre-season tour of Hong Kong and Japan.

The squad, announced on Sunday via the club’s website, includes new signings Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz. The Reds left England for Asia later that evening and will play friendly matches against AC Milan and Yokohama F. Marinos.

Earlier on Sunday, Liverpool defeated Stoke City 5-0 in a behind-closed-doors match at the AXA Training Centre as part of their build-up to the tour.

Liverpool are entering the new season as Premier League champions, having edged out Arsenal and Manchester City in last season’s title race.
