The Network Against Corruption and Trafficking (NACAT) has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to order a full investigation into the alleged illegal allocation and diversion of lands in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

The group is calling on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to take immediate action against those involved. They are also demanding the sack of any official found guilty.

In a statement signed by Co-Founder Fejiro Oliver Tega Samson, NACAT expressed concern that government officials are reportedly allocating FCT lands to their family members, both immediate and extended, while the presidency remains silent.

“It is worrisome that President Tinubu has not called the accused persons to order,” the statement said. “We will not fold our arms and watch Abuja be shared as inheritance.”

The group warned that failure to act will lead to continuous protests at the National Assembly and the FCT Ministry.
