The Zamfara State Government has renewed its fight against banditry and criminal activities across the state, following a high-level security stakeholders’ meeting held on Monday in Gusau, the state capital.

The meeting, chaired by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Malam Abubakar Mohammad Nakwada, brought together heads of security agencies and top government officials to review the state’s security situation and adopt new strategies.

Also in attendance was Deputy Governor Malam Mani Malam Mummuni, who reaffirmed the government’s commitment to protecting lives and restoring peace.

In a statement released by the Senior Special Assistant on Media to the SSG, Suleman Ahmad Tudu, the meeting produced ten key recommendations aimed at improving coordination, intelligence sharing, and operational effectiveness among security forces.

Nakwada condemned the recent attacks on communities, offering condolences to families affected by the violence. He said the government would not rest until peace is fully restored.
