The team has had a strong run in the tournament, winning two of their group matches, thrashing Zambia 5-0 in the quarter-finals, and defeating South Africa 2-1 in the semi-finals. So far, they have scored 11 goals and conceded only once.

“My beautiful and lovely Super Falcons, I congratulate you and the officials for reaching the final of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations,” she said.
