Manchester City have informed backup goalkeeper Stefan Ortega that he must leave the club this summer, following the return of young shot-stopper James Trafford.

According to top transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Ortega is now expected to find a new club, with Trafford set to take over as City’s second-choice keeper behind Ederson.

In other transfer news, Saudi Arabian side NEOM SC have reached an agreement with AS Monaco to sign 19-year-old attacking talent Saïmon Bouabré.

The deal is worth €10 million, with €2 million in potential add-ons and a sell-on clause. The final decision now rests with Bouabré, who is currently in talks with NEOM over personal terms.

Meanwhile, Everton are still waiting for Belgian youngster Malick Fofana to decide his future. The player is believed to prefer a move to a club playing in the UEFA Champions League.
