Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr teammates have arrived in Lagos, Portugal, as part of their ongoing preseason preparations ahead of the new Saudi Pro League campaign.
The Saudi Arabian club had earlier held training sessions in Lisbon before relocating to Lagos. The move was confirmed through the club’s official social media post which read: “Lisbon chapter closed, Lagos chapter loading.”
Ronaldo, who joined Al-Nassr in late 2022, was seen with the full squad, including new signing João Félix, who recently joined the club from Chelsea.
Al-Nassr have already kicked off their preseason campaign with a 2-1 victory over French side Toulouse, in which Ronaldo scored.
The team is gearing up for their next major fixture — a clash against league rivals Al Ittihad in the Saudi Super Cup, as they prepare for what promises to be a competitive new season.
Al-Nassr are aiming to improve on last season’s performance in both domestic and continental competitions, and the presence of global stars like Ronaldo continues to draw attention to the club and the Saudi league at large.
