    Tanker Explosion Kills Many in Zaria

    A tragic accident involving two fuel tankers and two passenger vehicles has claimed several lives in Zaria, Kaduna State.

    The explosion happened on Monday morning around 8:30 a.m. near Rochas Foundation School, along the Kaduna–Kano expressway bypass from Kwangila to Dan Magaji.

    According to eyewitnesses, the collision caused five loud explosions, which triggered a massive fire and thick black smoke that covered the road.

    “All the people inside the cars died immediately, except for one driver who survived but suffered serious burns,” a witness said.

    Emergency workers and security officers rushed to the scene and have since cordoned off the area. Motorists have been advised to avoid the route as rescue and recovery operations continue.
