Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has revealed that the players are yet to receive the \$100,000 cash reward and other promises made by the Federal Government following their victory at the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.

Ajibade, who led the team to a record-breaking title win, made the disclosure during an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo.

When asked if the \$100,000 had been paid, Ajibade responded:

“We have not received our money, but hopefully, it would be paid. All the promises — we have not received anything.”

The Super Falcons made headlines in July after winning their 12th WAFCON title, further cementing their dominance in African women’s football.
