    Katsina Governor on 3-Week Sick Leave, Deputy Takes Charge

    Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has stepped aside from official duties for three weeks to attend to his health. The announcement was made on Thursday by the state’s Commissioner for Information and Culture, Bala Salisu Zango.

    In the official statement, Governor Radda explained that taking care of his health is necessary for him to continue serving the state effectively. “Taking the necessary steps to prioritize my health is essential so I can continue to serve effectively and make the best decisions for our state,” he said.

    During his absence, the Deputy Governor, Malam Faruk Lawal, will assume full responsibilities of the governor’s office.

    Governor Radda expressed full confidence in his deputy’s ability to run the affairs of the state, assuring the public that government activities, programs, and projects will continue without disruption.

    The statement concluded by noting that the administration looks forward to the governor’s return in good health, ready to resume his duties.
