Popular Nigerian streamer, Peller, has sparked a wave of online reactions after claiming that his recent live session with music star Davido was not a “real stream” and declaring that meeting Wizkid would be the true game-changer in his career.

In a recent broadcast that has gone viral, Peller said although he once streamed with Davido, it didn’t feel like a true collaboration because it happened on YouTube, not his main platform, TikTok.

“If I meet Wizkid like this, I swear to Almighty God, I don big for life,” Peller said emotionally during the broadcast.

“Guys, you know say that streaming wey me and Davido do no be streaming o. The original streaming na here [TikTok]. Na you people push me go YouTube say make I go dey stream for YouTube. Una say make I no dey stream for TikTok, una say na YouTube be original streaming, I con go YouTube go dey stream…”

Peller’s remarks have stirred mixed reactions on social media. While some fans of Davido were quick to criticize him for being “ungrateful” and “disrespectful,” others defended him, saying he was only trying to explain the difference between streaming platforms and how they impact his growth as a content creator.
