Nigerian controversial content creator, Mandy Kiss, has finally broken her silence after the Eselu of Iselu Kingdom, Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, wrote a formal petition to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, demanding her arrest over a controversial sex marathon stunt.
The social media personality had earlier shocked many Nigerians when she announced her intention to break a Guinness World Record by sleeping with 100 men in 24 hours. The claim immediately went viral, stirring outrage, ridicule, and heated debate on social media platforms.
However, in a video response posted on TikTok, Mandy Kiss has now confessed that the entire claim was false, saying it was just a publicity stunt to revive her declining online popularity.
“I was just trying to see if I was still relevant,” she said in the video. “Everywhere was dry on my page, so I came up with the idea to get engagement. I can’t even afford legal fees, so it was never a serious plan.”
Following the viral post, Guinness World Records (GWR) was quick to issue a public clarification, stating that there is no such record category and that it would not be monitored or approved under any circumstances.
“This is not a record we would ever recognize or track,” GWR said in a brief statement.
Despite the disclaimer, the topic continued to trend online, drawing widespread criticism and sparking reactions from both religious and traditional institutions.
One of the most serious responses came from Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, who submitted a formal petition to the Lagos State Government asking for Mandy’s immediate arrest and prosecution.
The monarch described Mandy’s actions as “disgraceful, shameful, and damaging to Nigeria’s image.” He warned that such behavior, if left unchecked, could negatively influence Nigerian youth and promote moral decay.
“Our values as a people are under attack. The government must act swiftly to protect our culture and reputation,” Oba Akinyemi stated in his petition.
His petition has since stirred more controversy, as Nigerians remain divided over whether Mandy’s actions deserve legal consequences or should be dismissed as another case of internet clout-chasing.
Following Mandy’s confession, social media has been flooded with mixed reactions. While some Nigerians were relieved that the sex marathon wasn’t real, others condemned her for misleading the public and dragging the country into an unnecessary international spotlight.
“She’s just chasing clout, but this time she went too far,” one user commented on X (formerly Twitter).
“Mandy Kiss is not the problem. The real issue is a system that allows anyone to trend with anything,” another user said.
Others defended her, arguing that many influencers use outrageous stunts to stay relevant online, and that the situation should not be blown out of proportion.
“It was clearly a joke. People should calm down,” said a TikTok follower.
Mandy Kiss, known for her raunchy content and controversial statements, has made headlines in the past for promoting what she calls “bad girl lifestyle.” She has openly described herself as the “President of runs girls,” a slang term for young women who engage in transactional sex.
Her online activities have repeatedly attracted criticism, but this latest stunt has brought her more backlash than usual with some even calling for her permanent ban from social media.
While Mandy now insists the sex marathon was never a real plan, the controversy has done its job — putting her name back in the headlines and making her a trending topic once again.
For now, no official response has been issued by the Lagos State Government regarding the Oba’s petition, and it remains unclear whether any legal action will be taken.
