Faith Adewale, a recently disqualified housemate from Big Brother Naija Season 10, has broken his silence days after his exit from the reality show. In an emotional four-minute video posted on his YouTube channel on Friday, the 25-year-old medical doctor opened up about his journey to the BBNaija house, the struggles he faced, and his plans moving forward.
Faith was disqualified earlier in October following a physical altercation in the house — an incident that shocked fans and brought his time on the show to an abrupt end.
Starting his video with a reflective tone, Faith said:
“Faith is dead, but before he passed on, he wanted to tell you stories that meant the world to him. So listen carefully.”
Faith revealed that his BBNaija journey began with a simple text message that would change his life.
“On March 5, 2025, I got a text message that flipped my world upside down. One click on that link and everything changed,” he said.
He went on to share that after returning to Nigeria in December 2024, he felt uncertain about his future as a doctor and began exploring other options. That decision led him to audition for Africa’s biggest reality show — but not without personal sacrifice.
“I was pissed. Like, what am I going to do in this country as a doctor? But somehow, clicking that link led me to Big Brother. I took a loan of ₦5 million and somehow, I made it,” he said.
Faith’s revelation has sparked conversations online, especially among young Nigerians who see the show as a life-changing opportunity but are often unaware of the financial risks involved.
The former housemate admitted that life in the BBNaija house was far from easy. He opened up about his emotional battles, revealing that he had repeatedly asked to see a therapist while on the show.
“I wasn’t perfect. I made a lot of mistakes. I was overwhelmed and isolated. I requested to see a therapist more than three times because I knew I needed help,” he said.
Though his time in the house ended on a sour note, Faith said he’s grateful for the overwhelming support he received from fans both in Nigeria and across Africa.
“Outside those walls, a whole continent was standing for me. People I’ve never met were shouting my name and spending their hard-earned money to keep me in that house. They didn’t see perfection, they saw Faith — a flawed but passionate man,” he said.
Despite his disqualification, Faith says he is re-energised and ready for new opportunities in the entertainment industry. He now sees himself as more than just a doctor — calling himself a dreamer, a creator, and an entertainer.
“This is Faith Adewale, the dreamer, the doctor, the creator, the entertainer, your latest reality TV star. I’m ready to make magic with you all,” he concluded.
The 2025 Big Brother Naija Season 10, themed “10/10”, has been one of the most talked-about editions of the show. As always, housemates competed for fame and a grand prize, while facing both personal and group challenges. Faith’s dramatic disqualification became a trending topic, with many fans divided over the incident that led to his exit.
