Victor Osimhen scored again to help Galatasaray come from behind to beat Göztepe 3-2 at the RAMS Park on Sunday, continuing his fine form in the Turkish Super Lig.

The game started poorly for the visitors, as Efkan Bekiroğlu stunned Galatasaray fans by putting Göztepe ahead after just six minutes. The early goal seemed to set the home team on course for victory.

However, Osimhen, the Nigeria international, quickly restored parity for Galatasaray in the 19th minute after capitalising on a defensive error by Göztepe. The goal marked Osimhen’s third league goal of the season and his third goal in as many appearances for the Yellow and Reds.

The Super Lig leaders turned the match in their favour in the second half. Gabriel Sara and Mauro Icardi added crucial goals to secure the comeback win, leaving the final score at 3-2.

The victory keeps Galatasaray firmly at the top of the Super Lig table with 28 points, five points clear of second-placed Trabzonspor. Göztepe, despite their bright start, remain fifth with 16 points after suffering just their second defeat of the season.
