Controversial relationship coach, Blessing CEO, has denied claims that her fiancé, IVD, assaulted her, clarifying that a viral video she shared on social media was misinterpreted.
Two days ago, Blessing CEO posted a video on Instagram that sparked concern among her followers. In the now-deleted footage, she appeared distressed and called for urgent help, suggesting that she was in danger. The video led many to accuse IVD of domestic abuse, particularly in light of previous allegations by his late wife’s family.
However, Blessing CEO explained that the video had nothing to do with domestic violence. She said the footage was recorded during a robbery incident and not an attack by IVD.
“You all should bring proof that I was beaten by IVD. IVD is someone’s brother, he is someone’s son. Why do you want me to lie that he beat me? Why do you people want to force me to accept domestic violence that doesn’t exist?” she said, addressing the backlash.
The self-proclaimed relationship expert noted that her post had been taken out of context and criticised those who jumped to conclusions without understanding the situation.
IVD, who has faced scrutiny in the past due to domestic abuse allegations from his late wife’s family, was defended by Blessing CEO, who called for fairness and truth in evaluating the incident.
Social media users had reacted strongly to the video, expressing outrage and concern for Blessing CEO’s safety. The clarification has, however, prompted mixed reactions, with some accepting her explanation while others remain sceptical.
