Nigeria’s Super Eagles have received a financial boost at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after earning a total of $25,000 as goal bonus following their strong performance so far in the tournament.
The bonus comes from an incentive package announced by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) before the start of the competition. According to the arrangement, the Super Eagles were promised $5,000 for every goal scored during the tournament.
With five goals already scored at the ongoing AFCON in Morocco, the team has now earned a total of $25,000 in goal bonuses. This achievement also places Nigeria as the highest-scoring team in the competition so far, a sign of their attacking strength and confidence.
