This incident bears similarities to another mysterious death in the area just weeks earlier. On December 3, 22-year-old Joseph Prince was arrested after his girlfriend, Agala Peace, died under suspicious circumstances in Ota.

Prince had been transporting Peace to the hospital when she passed away unexpectedly.
