Wike Destroys PDP with Presidential Support- Audu

    Share

Aliyu Audu, a former Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to President Bola Tinubu, has accused the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, of being a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) but secretly controlling the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

During an interview, Audu claimed that Wike is weakening the PDP with the support of President Tinubu. He said the FCT Minister uses his powerful office to back the president’s agenda, despite officially belonging to the opposition party.

Audu, who recently resigned from the Tinubu administration, also declared his determination to oppose the president’s re-election in 2027.

He further criticized President Tinubu for sidelining him, despite being one of his official spokespersons. Audu said he never had a meeting with the president during his nearly two years in office, while the president gave attention to others, including the popular musician Davido and Lagos politician Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran.

“I worked for the President for nearly two years but didn’t have a sit-down with him. I am one of his spokespersons, yet he sat with Davido, who insulted him a few weeks earlier, and with Jandor, who didn’t even come second in the Lagos election. It doesn’t make sense,” Audu said.
