Napoli have given Turkish club Galatasaray until next Monday to complete all paperwork for the permanent transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
According to reports from Football Italia, both clubs have already agreed on key terms, including a clause that blocks any sale of Osimhen to Serie A clubs for the next two years, as well as a final agreement on payment percentages.
Galatasaray, who had Osimhen on loan last season, have been pushing to sign him permanently after his outstanding performance. The Super Eagles forward scored 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 appearances for the Istanbul-based club.
Despite having at least four earlier bids turned down, Galatasaray are now close to sealing the deal. Napoli, however, are unwilling to allow further delays and have set next week Monday as the final deadline to wrap up the transfer.
Under the current agreement, Galatasaray will pay €40 million upfront, with the remaining €35 million to be paid in instalments by June 2026.
Osimhen’s move is expected to be one of the biggest in Turkish football history and is being closely watched by fans and analysts across Europe and Africa.
