Real Madrid Set to Sell Alaba, Rodrygo, Mendy This Summer

Spanish giants, Real Madrid, have reportedly decided to offload three senior players — David Alaba, Rodrygo, and Ferland Mendy during the current summer transfer window.

According to Spanish outlet Diario AS, the club is open to selling the trio as part of a squad shake-up ahead of the new season under new manager Xabi Alonso.

Although the club considered terminating Alaba’s contract and paying him off, the Austrian defender reportedly rejected the offer, insisting he wants to remain at Santiago Bernabéu.

All three players face an uncertain future, as they are not guaranteed regular playing time under Alonso. None of them featured in Madrid’s recent Club World Cup semi-final loss to Paris Saint-Germain — a clear signal they may not be part of the manager’s main plans going forward.

With the transfer window still open, Alaba, Rodrygo, and Mendy are expected to make decisions soon on their future. However, Madrid may face challenges in securing suitable offers for them.
