Gunmen suspected to be bandits have kidnapped three people, including a pastor, in Bauda Village, Maro Community of Kajuru Local Government Area in Kaduna State.
The victims—Reverend Anthony Lamba, 50, of ECWA Church Bauda; Christiana Anthony; and Danlami Zana—were abducted while working on their farm on Friday afternoon.
According to local sources, the attackers stormed the farmland and took the victims away before security agents could intervene.
Security forces were quickly mobilised after the attack, but the kidnappers had already escaped with the victims to an unknown location.
Efforts are ongoing to track down the suspects and rescue the abductees safely. Authorities say investigations have begun and called on the public to remain calm and report any suspicious movement.
Kidnappings have become a major security challenge in parts of Kaduna State, with rural communities frequently targeted by armed gangs.
