Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has officially ended her professional relationship with her longtime manager, Mekka Millions, after 11 years of working together.
The singer made the announcement on Saturday evening through a series of posts on her Instagram story, where she also warned the public and show promoters not to contact Mekka for bookings.
“I do not work with Mekka anymore,” Tiwa wrote. “Please for bookings, contact Vanessa Amadi. Any bookings that go through any other channel will be void, and you will lose your money.”
Tiwa made it clear that she would not be held responsible for any financial loss or miscommunication caused by dealing with Mekka going forward.
Mekka Millions took over Tiwa Savage’s management duties in 2013 after the singer parted ways with her ex-husband and former manager, Tee Billz.
Vanessa Amadi, a known figure in the international entertainment space, will now handle Tiwa’s bookings and public engagements. The singer has yet to give details about the reason for the sudden change.
