    Troops Foil Bandit Attack in Katsina

    Security forces have stopped a bandit attack in Kuki, a community in Dutsin-Ma Local Government Area of Katsina State, and arrested one suspect.

    The incident happened late Friday night when armed men tried to invade the town. According to reports, troops responded quickly and engaged the attackers in a brief gun battle, forcing them to retreat.

    One of the suspects was captured during the operation and taken into custody. A video of the arrest has since gone viral online, showing security operatives securing the area and taking the suspect away.

    Katsina, like many states in the North-West, has faced frequent attacks by bandits targeting villages, roads, and farmlands. The state government and security agencies have stepped up efforts in recent months to tackle the growing insecurity.

    Residents of Kuki have praised the quick action of the security forces, urging the government to maintain the momentum in the fight against banditry.
