Popular Nigerian activist and social media personality, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has reacted to recent prophecies claiming he will die unexpectedly.
In separate viral videos, two unnamed prophets from Nigeria and Ghana predicted that the activist would either be killed or face spiritual attacks from bad politicians.
One of the prophets, preaching in Yoruba, said:
“There are activists in this country that they will soon end. One will be imprisoned, the other killed, because they said they have nothing to lose.”
Another prophet said: “Bad politicians have taken VDM to a river. He is dead in the river but alive physically. Whether he likes it or not, he will leave the world unexpectedly.”
Reacting via his Instagram page on Sunday, VDM said he is not bothered by such visions. He added that death is inevitable and urged the prophets to focus on positive prophecies about Nigeria.
“You’re seeing vision for me like I’m some important person. I’m not important. Death is coming for all of us,” he said.
“Tell us a vision about Nigeria. When will this country be great?”
VeryDarkMan, known for his controversial takes on politics, entertainment, and social issues, has built a large following for his outspoken style. His comments often spark public debates, and he has faced several legal challenges due to his activism.
The viral prophecies have stirred conversations online, with many Nigerians divided on the role of spiritual predictions in public affairs.
