Lege Fires Back at VeryDarkMan Over Lekki Flood Comments

    Share

Nollywood actor and social media personality, Lege Miami, has fired back at controversial influencer VeryDarkMan following the latter’s recent comments linking the Lekki flood to President Bola Tinubu.

In a viral video, Lege Miami called on VeryDarkMan to “be a real activist” and stop blaming the president for everything. He also defended the current administration, sarcastically asking, “Is it Tinubu that made rain to fall?”

The online drama started after VeryDarkMan criticised the government over the heavy flooding in Lekki, Lagos, suggesting that poor urban planning and weak leadership were to blame — a comment that didn’t sit well with Lege Miami.

Lege, known for his strong opinions on social media, dismissed the claims and stood by Instablog, calling it the only “unbiased and real platform” he trusts when it comes to news and public conversations.

The clash has triggered a wave of online reactions, with Nigerians debating the roles of influencers and celebrities in shaping national discussions. While some support VeryDarkMan’s critical stance on governance and accountability, others agree with Lege, saying that not every problem in the country should be blamed on the president.
