My Wife Was Diagnosed with HIV During COVID – Bishop Abioye

    Share

Bishop David Abioye, the Senior Pastor of the Conquerors Global Assembly, has revealed that his wife was once diagnosed with HIV during the COVID-19 pandemic but was later declared free of the virus after prayers and faith.

Speaking during a Sunday live service while teaching on healing, Bishop Abioye said the diagnosis came as a shock, but he refused to accept it and immediately turned to prayer based on scriptural conviction.

“During COVID-19, they said my wife had HIV,” he recalled. “I said no — not in this body. By the time they checked her again, they couldn’t find anything there.”

The cleric said his reaction was based on his deep belief in divine healing and the authority of faith over sickness. “I got scriptural revelation from the Bible that says, ‘The prince of this world came to check me and found nothing.’ So I said, go and do the check-up again,” he added.

According to Bishop Abioye, the second medical test returned negative, showing that there was no trace of the virus. He used the experience to encourage his congregation to exercise faith when faced with sickness or difficult medical conditions.
