According to a statement on the Ogun State’s Governor Dapo Abiodun‘s X.com account, the OGSTEP Intervention Support Project is a strategic initiative to enhance rice production in Ogun State.
“With the participation of 30,138 farmers, including men, women, and youth, the project aims to significantly increase the state’s rice yield. According to projections, the initiative could generate an annual revenue of N3billion Naira from the 200 hectares of rice fields,” the statement says.
“Our commitment to increasing rice production is part of a larger strategy to boost agriculture in Ogun State and across Nigeria. We are dedicated to supporting our farmers and ensuring that they have the resources they need to succeed.”
