Fans of Manchester City are enjoying a good time as their club made history on Sunday after clinching its fourth Premier League Title.
The victory didn’t come easy as the football club had to battle it out with Arsenal and Liverpool who were resilient all through the season-long competition. This latest achievement means Manchester City has 10 league titles in the Club’s history, with the first coming 87 years ago.
The Club’s Official statement read “Sealed on the final day of a grueling campaign, we have now won 10 English league titles in total and on six occasions under our incredible Catalan manager.
It is the latest outstanding accomplishment in Pep Guardiola’s glittering period in charge. We now have the chance to become the first side in English football ever to win the Premier League and FA Cup Double in back-to-back years.”
For Pep Guardiola, this is the first time this is the first season he has ever gone a full season without Premier League defeat at City’s home ground. The club has not been defeated at home in the Premier League since November 2022.
Erling Haaland walked home with his second Golden Boot in his first two years as a football player at Manchester City while his teammate, Phil Foden was awarded the Player of the 2023/24 season.
