Snapshots: Army Arrests 8, Recovers AK-47 Rifles, Sword

A follow-up operation, launched by the Nigerian Army in Plateau State, has led to the arrest of eight suspects connected to the killing of an Assistant Superintendent of Immigration, CL Agwom, killed during an earlier raid.

 A statement from the spokesperson of Operation Safe Haven, Major S. N. Zhakom, said the operation also led to the recovery of a substantial cache of weapons and ammunition from Ratas, Ratoso, and Sangasa villages in Barkin Ladi LGA of Plateau State.

The items recovered include:

– Twelve AK-47 rifles
