PSquare: We Are Tired of Your Endless Squabbles

    Share

Nigerians are tired. No, not because of the scorching heat or the rising fuel prices. We are tired because PSquare, our beloved musical twin sensations, are at it again.

Yes, you heard it right – Peter and Paul Okoye have parted ways, again! Just when we thought the storm had settled after their last reconciliation two years ago, here we are, back to square one.

Honestly, what is it this time? Let me guess – money, ego, pride, or perhaps the age-old debate of who sings better. It’s like a broken record at this point.

And while we’re on the subject, let’s not forget the silent spectators in this drama – the wives. This time around, they’re keeping mum, and surprisingly, their elder brother Jude isn’t involved. It’s almost as if everyone is exhausted from the endless cycle of squabbles.

Paul Okoye, a.k.a. Rudeboy, recently spilled the beans in a radio interview, airing out all the dirty laundry.

He said it all, from the petty grievances to the deep-seated issues that have driven yet another wedge between the brothers.

But honestly, Paul, Peter – we are tired of reading about your fights. We want to listen to your music, not your melodrama.

Remember the good old days? You two were inseparable, churning out hit after hit, making us dance and sing along to your catchy tunes. Now, it feels like we’re trapped in a soap opera, waiting for the next plot twist.

Guys, you’re no longer the young boys who burst onto the scene with “Senorita” in 2003. You’re men now. It’s high time you behaved like one.

Some folks are quick to point fingers at the wives, claiming they’re the root of the discord.

Others blame the entourage, the so-called ‘yes-men’ who supposedly fuel the fire.

There’s even a theory floating around that their late mother disapproved of their wives, and that’s what set off this chain of events. Seriously, who comes up with these things?

Whatever it is, enough is enough. Guys, it’s time to grow up, put your differences aside, and stop disturbing our peace. We have enough to deal with without having to keep up with the PSquare saga.

If not for yourselves, do it for the fans who have stood by you through thick and thin, who still hold on to the hope of seeing you perform together once more.

So, Peter and Paul, here’s a piece of unsolicited advice from a tired fan: squash the beef, mend the rift, and get back to what you do best – making music.
