The Nigerian team took control of the match with an impressive 11-0 run at the beginning of the second half, leaving Canada stunned and unable to recover.

Ezinne Kalu, a key player for D’Tigress, wielded immense influence on the game, performing her customary role of manipulating the backcourt with finesse.

Elizabeth Balogun also shone brightly, recording her best-ever performance with 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.
