    The letter, dated October 10, 2024, was sent by the Secretary to the State Government, Joseph Eboigbe.

    He emphasized the importance of establishing a transition team to facilitate collaboration between the outgoing and incoming administrations.

    The transition team will serve as a bridge between the current government led by Governor Godwin Obaseki and the incoming administration under Senator Okpebholo.

    The letter was received by Mr. Joy Oyere, an administrative secretary at the Secretariat of the Edo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

    Eboigbe wrote, “As we prepare for the transition of power, we believe it is crucial to establish a smooth and effective collaboration between your team and our current administration.”

    He further noted that this partnership will help lay the groundwork for a successful administration that can meet the expectations of Edo State residents.

    The letter concluded with an invitation for Okpebholo and the APC to form their transition team as soon as possible.
