The Edo State Government has officially written to the Governor-elect, Senator Monday Okpebholo, to kick-start the formation of his transition team.

The letter, dated October 10, 2024, was sent by the Secretary to the State Government, Joseph Eboigbe.

The letter was received by Mr. Joy Oyere, an administrative secretary at the Secretariat of the Edo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Eboigbe wrote, “As we prepare for the transition of power, we believe it is crucial to establish a smooth and effective collaboration between your team and our current administration.”

The letter concluded with an invitation for Okpebholo and the APC to form their transition team as soon as possible.
