The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has suspended two ministers over allegations of homosexuality.
In a memo dated October 28, 2024, RCCG National Overseer Pastor Sunday Akande announced the temporary suspension of Pastor Ayorinde AdeBello and Deacon Oke Mayowa.
This internal memo was obtained by Stonix News and outlines the church’s immediate response to the accusations.
Pastor Akande stated that the allegations would be investigated thoroughly by the church.

For example, Leviticus 18:22 describes same-sex relations as an “abomination.”
Similarly, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 warns that the “unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God.”
