    Tinubu Mourns Business Icon Aminu Dantata, 94

    President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed deep sorrow over the death of elder statesman and renowned businessman, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, who passed away at the age of 94 on Saturday.

    In a statement from the Presidency, Tinubu described the late Dantata as a patriotic Nigerian whose contributions to the country’s economic development and philanthropy were immeasurable.

    Dantata was not only a respected businessman but also served as Commissioner for Planning and Development in the old Kano State. His legacy includes major contributions to education and healthcare through wide-reaching charitable works.

    President Tinubu reflected on his personal relationship with the late businessman, noting that his advice and support over the years were valuable and inspiring.

    “With the death of Alhaji Dantata, we lost a prominent business mogul and elder statesman who contributed greatly to Nigeria’s growth and unity through his industry and philanthropy,” Tinubu said.
