Joe Igbokwe: Okey Nwosu Is Luckiest Man in ADC

Joe Igbokwe, a prominent chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has described Okey Ralph Nwosu, former National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), as the luckiest man in the party.

The statement follows the recent formation of a coalition of opposition groups that adopted the ADC as their platform to challenge President Bola Tinubu’s administration in the 2027 elections.

Okey Nwosu, a founding member and longtime leader of the ADC, stepped down along with other executives to make way for former Senate President David Mark and other coalition members who now lead the party.

Reacting to the development, Igbokwe hinted on his Facebook page that Nwosu was persuaded to relinquish his position for the coalition leaders.

He wrote: “The luckiest man in this ADC Coalition is Chief Okey Nwosu. He has struggled with this party for many years now. Okey Nwannem collect as much as you can. It is your time. You laboured for it. But the small bird will not fly. Cash out bro.”
