The launch event took place on Thursday at the Ogun State Tech Hub on Kobape Road, Abeokuta, with Acting U.S. Consul General JoEllen Gorg and Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun in attendance.

The project is a public-private partnership involving the Ogun State Government through its Bureau of Information Technology, the Nigerian tech firm GFA Technologies Group, and the U.S. Mission.

Governor Abiodun described the initiative as a “vibrant and welcoming space” designed to connect young Nigerians with global opportunities. The facility offers access to American books, journalism, internet resources, free coding programs, an English conversation club, digital literacy training, and discussions on world events.
